Your voice is too valuable to get lost in the noise.

In a world overflowing with opinions, headlines, and half-truths, science needs a voice that connects. A voice that informs and inspires. A voice that builds trust, not just shares facts. The Science Story Speak Master Cohort is an interactive , small-group experience for people ready to lead science conversations with clarity, credibility, and confidence. Whether you're in food, farming, water, health, nutrition, or any space where science meets the public – this cohort is for you.

Are you ready to transform your ability to communicate science?

Michele Payn and Amy Hays will walk you through tools and techniques to connect science on a deeper level. The cohort is scheduled Mondays and Wednesdays at 12 p.m. Eastern, June 9, 11, 16, and 18. In this small-group setting, you'll learn:

  • how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences,
  • simple ways to address critical issues like sustainability, animal welfare, and the role of technology in farming.
  • the power of storytelling to counter misinformation and build understanding around complex topics.
  • why you need to tailor your message to different generations.
  • techniques to leverage connection points, and find common ground even amidst differing perspectives.

Let's work together to drive positive change in food and agriculture!

Just as the Science Story Speak workbook goes beyond theory, this master cohort provides practical exercises and real-world examples to hone your communication skills alongside peers. You'll delve into the psychology of decision-making, exploring how neuroscience and behavioral science influence perceptions of agriculture and science.

We are looking for up to 10 people who to invest $199 in idea sharing with peers and learning from the Science Story Speak workbook, and personalized coaching from Amy & Michele. These power sessions will be at 12 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Central on Mondays and Wednesdays for two weeks in June.

You'll walk away from the Science Story Speak Master Cohort with a tailor-made action plan and be ready to put your science story into action to make a lasting impact. Join the inaugural cohort group by registering today using the button below!

What you need to know...

  • You'll be sent a short questionnaire upon registering to help Michele and Amy shape the training to meet your learning needs..
  • Amy & Michele will also set up a coaching call with you in late May/early June for one-on-one discussion about your learning needs and goals.
  • You will need to purchase the Science Story Speak workbook as a part of this training. If you are in the U.S., please choose the registration that includes the workbook and we will ship it to the address you provide via USPS Media Mail  We cannot ship the workbook to Canada due to costs, but you can order it from Amazon - so Canadians will need to choose the registration without the book included and then order it from Amazon Canada. We wish we could better accomodate workbook orders from 'up north' – but will be glad to have you in the master cohort!
  • The training will be held on Zoom - you will be sent a link for each week upon registration. If you absolutely have to miss a week, we will send you the recording - but the best value in the cohort is interacting with your peers.
  • There will be a short take-home assignment following each session for you to share within your cohort the following session.
  • Please be sure your correct email is used in the PayPal registration and payment. Executive science communication coaching will be available at $100/hour beyond this Master Cohort if you are in need of indidualized coaching.
